After the success of Avengers: Endgame and the launch of Disney+, the legendary company has reported record-breaking numbers of net profit for many years to come. However, we here at True Superhero Fans Only have found out Disney’s devious-but-legal loophole as to how they can make so much money without paying taxes. And that revelation was uncovered by professional opinion haver Kevin Smith:
Upon studying his years of devout zealotry, Kevin Smith was put in contact with Disney Studio’s Head of Accounting, Gregor G. McMoneybags. The New Jersey Native has proselytized that superheroes are a new level of mythology, causing the megacorp to put that claim to the test.
McMoneybags reported Marvel Studios, LLC as a religious nonprofit to earn 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. The idea was whole-heartedly approved by the Trump Administration.
This decision has caused economists to break into a frenzy. Many are predicting astronomic rises in Disney’s stock, while others are kicking themselves for not realizing this sooner. Other companies are not expected to be granted the same sort of luxury, as Marvel fans would shame others for copying such a brilliant idea.
Although initially skeptical, Kevin Feige has accepted the idea in a recent press release:
“The Marvel Cinematic Universe provides everything that one could find in a higher power. Once every few months, people will listen to new scripture found at their local house of worship about love for their fellow man through the supernatural. In our eyes, the ability to inspire others with stories far overweighs the value we bring to supposed shareholders and lobbyists.”
For his brilliantly profitable idea, Bob Iger has gifted Kevin Smith with a Complimentary Fruit Basket inside a Disney Tote Bag.
